1. Who is responsible for your personal data

Hotel La Casona de Don Lucas (Grupo Hotelero Leyendas), at Plaza de La Paz #48, Centro Histórico, C.P. 36000, Guanajuato, Gto., Mexico, is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its applicable regulations.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Identification and contact data: name, phone, email, and country or city of residence.
  • Reservation data: dates of stay, number of guests, room type and special requests.
  • Registration data on arrival: official ID and guest registration information.
  • Invoicing data, if you request an invoice: name or company name, tax ID, tax address and email.
  • Messages you send us by WhatsApp, email or phone.

We do not request sensitive personal data. Payment details you enter in our booking engine are processed by the booking engine provider and its payment processors.

3. Why we use your data

Necessary purposes for the service you request:

  • Managing, confirming, changing or cancelling your reservation.
  • Registering you as a guest and providing hotel services during your stay.
  • Answering your requests, questions or complaints through any contact channel.
  • Issuing invoices and meeting legal obligations.

Additional purposes, not necessary for the service:

  • Sending you hotel promotions, offers and news.
  • Asking about your stay through satisfaction surveys.

If you do not want us to use your data for the additional purposes, email reservas@lacasonadedonlucas.com. Saying no will not affect your reservation or the services you booked.

4. Who we share your data with

  • Our booking engine provider and its payment processors, which process your reservation on our behalf.
  • Competent authorities, when required by law.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Transfers that require your consent are made only if you give it.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, correct it if inaccurate, cancel it, and object to its use for specific purposes (ARCO rights). You may also withdraw your consent and limit the use or disclosure of your data.

To exercise these rights, email reservas@lacasonadedonlucas.com with your name, a way to reply to you, a copy of your ID, a clear description of the data and the right you wish to exercise and, where applicable, proof of legal representation. We will respond within the time limits set by law.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not use its own advertising cookies, and fonts are served from our own server. When you visit, we ask whether you accept third-party services: only if you choose "Accept all" do we load the Google Maps map on the contact page and, if we enable them in the future, visitor measurement services. The Google Street View virtual tour loads only when you start it. These Google services may use cookies and collect technical browsing data under their own policies.

We store your choice in your browser, and you can change it at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page. To book, we send you to our booking engine, and when you use the WhatsApp button your message is sent through that platform; both apply their own privacy policies.

We may update this privacy notice. Any change will be published on this page with the date of the current version.
